Bournemouth
have
secured
the
services
of
Antoine
Semenyo
with
a
new
five-year
contract,
extending
his
stay
at
the
club
until
June
2029.
The
Cherries
rewarded
the
24-year-old
Ghana
international
for
his
impressive
first
full
season
with
the
club.
Semenyo
initially
joined
Bournemouth
from
Bristol
City
in
January
2023
for
approximately
£9
million,
signing
a
deal
that
was
set
to
run
until
the
summer
of
2027.
Despite
a
slow
start
due
to
injury,
Semenyo
found
his
stride
under
the
guidance
of
Andoni
Iraola
last
season.
Emerging
as
one
of
the
Premier
League’s
standout
players,
Semenyo
solidified
his
position
as
a
starting
right
winger,
contributing
eight
goals
and
two
assists
in
36
appearances.
His
remarkable
performance
earned
him
a
new
long-term
contract.

Semenyo’s
stellar
form
was
highlighted
by
his
nomination
for
the
Premier
League
Player
of
the
Month
award
in
March.
Throughout
the
season,
he
netted
goals
against
top
teams
such
as
Liverpool,
Burnley,
Aston
Villa,
Newcastle
United,
and
Wolverhampton
Wanderers,
including
a
memorable
brace
in
the
dramatic
4-3
comeback
victory
over
Luton
Town.
His
journey
has
seen
him
spend
time
on
loan
at
Bath
City,
Newport
County,
and
Sunderland
before
establishing
himself

Bristol
