treatment

his
ailment
abroad.
Giving
update
on
his
condition,
Drogba
showed
appreciation
for
the
support
he
has
received
since
he
was
diagnosed
with
the
disease.

post
on
his
official
Instagram
account,
he
said
“I
want
to
thank
everyone
who
have
supported
me
to
this
stage.
Thank
you
for
showing
concern
and
support.
“As
I
have
been
referred
to
receive
further
treatment
from
abroad,
I
look
forward
to
receiving
your
committed
support
to
help
me
receive
the
needed
treatment
for
this
neurological
condition
I’m
struggling
with,”
he
continued.
Drogba
pleaded
with
his
fans
to
continue
with
the
love
and
support
showed
him
during
his
difficult
moments
and
promised
to
give
update
on
the
progress
of
his
treatment.
In
March
this
year,
the
actor
was
diagnosed
with
life-threatening
Demyelinating
disease.
A
statement
which
announced
the
actor’s
ill-health
said
Drogba
had
been
battling
the
disease
for
over
two
years.
He
has
since
appealed
for
support
to
successfully
go
through
the
treatment
process
of
his
illness.
The
NPP’s
flagbearer,
Dr.
Bawumia
and
friends
of
Drogba
subsequently
paid
a
visit
to
the
actor
to
show
support
and
help
with
donations
for
his
treatment.
There
was
also
an
appeal
for
funds
to
help
Drogba
receive
treatment
abroad.
