Ghana’s
Parliament
experienced
a
blackout
on
Wednesday,
July
10,
2024.
This
is
not
the
first
time
the
legislative
chamber
has
faced
such
an
issue,
especially
during
proceedings.
The
most
recent
incident
occurred
in
February
when
President
Nana
Addo
Dankwa
Akufo-Addo
was
presenting
the
State
of
the
Nation
Address
(SONA).
Additionally,
in
March
2024,
the
Electricity
Company
of
Ghana
(ECG)
cut
the
power
supply
to
the
House
due
to
a
debt
of
GH¢23
million.
