said
it
will
embark
on
another
protest
against
the
Governor
of
the
Bank
of
Ghana,
Dr
Ernest
Addison,
on
July

2014,
for
allegedly
engaging
in
wasteful
spending
on
the
new
Head
Office
building.

Speaking
to
journalists
in
Parliament,
Member
of
Parliament
for
Bawku
Central,
Mahama
Ayariga
said
the
Governor
has
refused
to
answer
questions
on
the
latest
cost
of
the
building.

“Today
the
office
is
being
constructed
at
%250
million
dollars’’
he
alleged.

He
added
that
a
piece
of
land
that
used
to
host
the
bank’s
clinic
has
been
re-assigned
to
the
Governor
and
he
has
refused
to
give
details.

“The
central
bank
should
be
held
accountable,”
Mr
Ayariga
stated.

He
said
they
have
written
to

and
he

They
accused
the

He
maintained
that
the
Governor;

have
run
down

and
must
resign.
