The
traders
at
Aburi
Craft
Village
in
the
Eastern
Region
of
Ghana
are
lamenting
low
sales
of
late.
One
of
them,
Kwame
Appiah
Adu
in
an
interview
with
Onua
News’
Akua
Sarpomaa
stated
that
“customers
cannot
purchase
as
they
used
to
due
to
the
economic
situation.”
“Most
of
our
customers
are
foreigners
and
nowadays,
they
only
come
for
window
shopping
and
also
photo
taking
and
not
patronize
our
goods,”
he
said.
Another
trader,
Kwasi
Danquah
added
that,
“these
foreign
customers
take
the
pictures
of
their
designs
to
their

and
design
them
because
they
have
the
logistics
for
design”.
“We
are
appealing
to
the
government
to
support
us
in
terms
of
machines
so
we
can
produce
more
since
it
also
serves
as
tourist
attraction,”
he
added.
