Recall
that
months
ago,
hundreds
of
sekz
tapes
involving
a
high-ranking
Equatorial
Guinean
civil
servant
with
other
men’s
wives
went
viral
on
social
media
that
prompted
the
authorities
to
attempt
to
curb
their
spread.
In
the
videos,
the
married
director
of
the
National
Financial
Investigation
Agency
(ANIF),
Baltasar
Ebang
Engonga,
was
seen
in
full
bedroom
action
with
several
women
—
including
the
wives
of
prominent
officials
–
at
his
office
in
the
finance
ministry.
This
triggered
the
country’s
vice
president
Teodoro
Nguema
Obiang
Mangue
to
even
announce
on
X
that
the
government
would
order
them;
“immediate
suspension
of
all
civil
servants
who
have
had
sekzual
relations
in
the
offices
of
the
ministries,
as
this
constitutes
a
flagrant
violation
of
the
code
of
conduct
and
the
law
on
public
ethics”.
He
was
later
arrested
and
released
by
the
court
for
no
wrongdoing,
as
all
the
women
in
the
group
consented
to
the
activity.
Just
weeks
after
his
release,
over
50
news
videos
about
Baltasar
and
supposed
married
women
and
other
single
ladies
surfaced
on
social
media.
