confirmed

arrest
of
15
England
fans
during
the

semi-final
against

on

Approximately
25,000
England
supporters
attended
the
match

Dortmund,
with

vast
majority
described
as
“well
behaved.”
Prior
to
the
game,
five
individuals
sustained
minor
injuries
when
a
group
of
England
fans
were
attacked
by
Netherlands
supporters
in
the
town
center.
According
to
a
statement
from
UK
police,
who
were
present
in
Germany
to
collaborate
with
local
authorities,
the
incident
was
effectively
handled
by
German
law
enforcement
with
the
assistance
of
UK
officers.
UK
police
also
noted
that
there
were
no
serious
incidents
reported
after
the
match,
which
saw
England
triumph
over
the
Netherlands
with
a
2-1
victory.
