A Plus responds to police invite over Ahmed Suale’s death; says ‘I’ll speak nothing but the truth’

has
responded
to
the
invitation
by
the
police
over
his
claim,
he
has
information
about
Ahmed
Suale’s
death.

A
Plus
in
a
Facebook
post
shortly
after
news
of
the
police
invitation
said
he
will
be
present
at
the
Ghana
Police
headquarters
at
2pm
on
Monday,
July
to
speak
“nothing
but
the
truth.”

His
post
read:
“I’ll
be
at
CID
headquarters
at
2pm
to
give
information
on
Ahmed
Suale.
The
truth!
Nothing
but
the
truth.”

The
police
invitation
for
A
Plus
to
assist
in
ongoing
investigation
into
the
death
of
Ahmed
Suale,
follows
his
recent
claims
on
social
media
that
he
has
some
information
regarding
the
case.

The
police
invited
A
Plus
in
a
statement
issued
on
Monday,
July
15.
The
statement
noted
that
investigation
into
the
death
of
Ahmed
Suale
has
been
ongoing
since
the
unfortunate
incident
happened.

“The
Cold
Case
Unit
established
in
October
2021,
under
the
Criminal
Investigations
Department
(CID)
of
the
Ghana
Police
Service
to
handle
cases
of
this
nature
has
been
working
on
the
investigation
into
the
case
and
closely
engaging
with
the
deceased’s
family,”
the
police
said.


Police
invite
A
Plus
to
assist
investigations
after
claiming
he
has
information
about
Ahmed
Suale’s
killer

“The
Police
is
therefore
pleased
that
Mr.
Kwame
Asare
Obeng
(A-Plus)
has
made
indication
that
he
has
some
information
that
could
assist
the
ongoing
investigation,
and
he
has
been
invited
accordingly,”
the
statement
added.

Ahmed
Suale,
31,
an
investigative
journalist,
worked
with
Tiger
Eye
PI,
the
investigative
firm
established
by
Anas
Aremeyaw
Anas,
known
for
its
use
of
undercover
journalistic
methods
to
expose
corruption
and
other
ills
in
society.
