but

some
battles
in
injury,
left
two
years
later
to
join
Hellas
Verona
and
later
Cagliari.

He
played
21
league
games
for
Cagliari
last
season,
scoring
two
goals.

The
defensive
midfielder
made
his
debut
for
the
Black
Stars
during
their
2-1
win
over
Mali
in
the
2026
World
Cup
qualifiers.

His
addition
is
expected
to
boost
the
midfield
of
the
Italian
side
who
are
aiming
for
an
even
stronger
season
after
winning
their
first
major
trophy
in
61
years.
