following
her
defeat
in
the

parliamentary
elections.
The
footage
shows
the
New
Patriotic
Party
(NPP)
MP
engaging
with
constituents
and
offering
electronic
appliances
as
part
of
her
final
push
to
retain
the
seat.
Despite
these
efforts,
voters
in
Okaikwei
South
chose
to
elect
her
opponent.
Hon.
Newman’s
actions
have
been
perceived
by
some
as
an
attempt
to
sway
undecided
voters
but
unfortunately,
she
failed.
